NJ TRANSIT is hosting a round of “We Are Listening” forums for Bergen County bus customers, at the Hackensack Bus Terminal on Tuesday, February 19, at the Bergen Community College – Paramus Campus on Wednesday, February 20 and at the Bergen Community College – Meadowlands Campus in Lyndhurst on Wednesday, February 27, to give customers the opportunity to interact with NJT management personnel and Bergen BRT Study members to learn more about customer’s travel patterns within Bergen County. These forums also support the public outreach efforts associated with Bergen County Bus Rapid Transit Implementation Study jointly being conducted by NJT and Bergen County.

NJ TRANSIT is conducting these forums to enable customers to speak directly to NJ TRANSIT staff & Bergen BRT Study members to learn more about their experiences using the NJT Bus System within the County and to see how a bus rapid transit system may be of benefit to them in the future. Bus customers are encouraged to stop by with any questions they may have and to offer any feedback on their commuting experiences within Bergen County. Bus customer feedback gathered through these forums, as well as through quarterly customer surveys, is an important part of NJ TRANSIT’s “Scorecard” initiative to provide the public with a clear measurement of how the corporation is performing. The feedback is being used to target specific improvements in the NJT bus system in Bergen County and in order to boost customer satisfaction.
